The Career Transition Partnership
The Career Transition Partnership (CTP)?is the partnering agreement between the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Right Management who are global career development and outplacement specialists. The highly successful CTP contract delivers free resettlement services to all eligible ranks of the British Armed Forces, making the transition from military to civilian life as smooth and as possible.
To date, CTP has assisted over 180,000 Service leavers with the transition from military to civilian life and has supported thousands of organisations looking to employ ex-Service personnel.
As a key sub-contractor under CTP and through our network of offices across the UK, RFEA engages with employers and also provides tailored job-finding advice for Service leavers, irrespective of background or time served in the Armed Forces.
How CTP can help you
CTP support is provided to Service leavers from two years prior to discharge to two years after discharge. Thereafter, as an employment charity, RFEA provides job-finding assistance to all ex-Forces individuals, regardless of background; you can access our employment services for the rest of your working life.
– If you are a Service leaver and have registered with the CTP for your resettlement, you will have been issued with access to RightJob, the online CTP job board that enables you to search for thousands of quality vacancies anywhere in the UK.
– If you are an employer, CTP offers companies a top-quality, no cost recruitment service through which employers can access motivated, highly qualified Service leavers who will bring real value to your business.
“Research your chosen line of work thoroughly and take advantage of all the CTP have to offer, because what they offer is of great value and use. Finally, get out here and enjoy it!”
