RFEA receives two grants from ABF The Soldiers’ Charity

1st Battalion Coldstream Guards

RFEA is very grateful for the continued support of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. Their two generous grants of July 2018 will help us provide employment advice, guidance and mentoring to Army veterans through our Ex Forces and Bridging the Gap programmes.

Commenting on the grants, Stephen Gledhill, RFEA’s chief executive, said: “We are delighted to be the recipients of two substantial grants from ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. We couldn’t help those we do without the assistance and funding we receive from our supporters. Last year we helped 20,000 service leavers and veterans take their next steps into new employment. Thanks to the generosity of the Fund we will be able to reach even more Army veterans who need our help.”

Brigadier (Ret’d) Robin Bacon, Chief of Staff, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity adds: “Offering our veterans advice and support to get back into employment after their time in the Army is crucial to their wellbeing and to securing their future. RFEA have provided their vital services for many years and they thoroughly deserve the grant we have awarded, which will help them care for our veterans for the long-haul.”
